you actually do need several days of adjustment before hiking at that altitude. im not making this up
your schedule would barely allow one. or half of one.
we could have through hiked the cabin area or done a loop. and its all at 8k ft.
this year the springs will be full because the area is covered in at least a ft. of snow now. but it was under drought last summer, so there.
