Also, stop trying to get me off-track. This thread is about how you unfairly maligned a wonderful vidya card, and now you're trying to besmirch the reputation of a fine ethical company. You're accusing them of tilting Witcher 3's performance metrics in their favor. Good heavens.
CD Projekt couldn't make an optimized game if their lives depended on it. The first Witcher was a mess on release and didn't get much better. The second one was a console title dumped onto the PC with an absurdly overwrought and undercooked graphics upgrade. I don't know about the new one. Maybe they finally did something right, but I doubt it.
Also, because you have an uber card like the 290x doesn't mean that my 380 was worth setting on fire.
I'm surprised -- surprised and shocked -- that you would throw out a red herring like my incompetence at building PCs, when all along we're really talking about an inferior outfit who can't compete with the best graphics company in the world. They should be putting their shoulders to the grindstone -- getting their noses down there in the dirt -- to make a better product instead of hiding behind their fanboys and allowing this Nvidia LIBEL and SLANDER persist.
