I don't think the length was bad at all. I never once felt like I was waiting for the movie to be over, and it that was with it already cutting a lot from the book to get that runtime.
And you're a fucking moron. You think they should have cut the origin story of the most intriguing, WTF, how-did-he-get-lik-that, where-did-he-come-from, character in the movie? No, that's pretty much the WORST scene you could cut from the movie. I do agree with the prison break though, as it was mostly just slow motion fighting down a hallway.
I agree with a review stating that it detracted from the movie by being so faithful to the book. We all know what happens in the book, and it would have been nice to see the movie go in a few different directions that wasn't in the book (not counting the ending obviously, which simply had to change because the book ending was fucking retarded).
