Subject: RE: Edge of Tomorrow still holds up

When I think how much better Groundhog Day could have been with Emily Blunt instead of Bill Murray, I get faint. Instead of Murray's snark, you would have had Emily's trademark voice quaver, that impossibly beautiful profile, and those impossibly expressive gray eyes. Also the accent.

Come to think of it, Emily would make any movie better.

SIMONIDES: "Judah. Judah Ben-Hur. You've come back to us like a returning faith. Oh Judah, I should like to laugh again . . . wait. You're not Judah."

EMILY BLUNT: "You speak truly, old friend. I am Judette. I went to the galleys a prince of Jerusalem. I return as--"

SIMONIDES: "A beautiful girl! Though I am blind, I can tell that you have an impossibly beautiful profile."

EMILY BLUNT: "It's uncanny, isn't it? I come this close to looking like a monkey, but the contours are offset in just the right way."

SIMONIDES: "This will buy death for the Romans."

EMILY BLUNT: "Not until I have defeated Messala in the Circus."

SIMONIDES: "I meant to tell you. He's come back as Charlize Theron."

EMILY BLUNT: "That filth. He stops at nothing!"
