RE: Crowdfunding for Blood
Hall talks about reacquiring the rights to the franchise, along with a Kickstarter campaign for a possible remake/sequel when the thing everyone wants and ever wanted was a simple source port of the original game that a single coder could create in his/her spare time as a passion project.
To this day, I'm still not sure of the specifics on why Blood has had so much trouble regarding release of source code. Though I'm fairly certain it has to do with its checkered past, with the property changing hands between so many studios and publishers, some of which no longer exist.
