another awesome necrofile thread about me, necrofi
so my mexican water heater broke down again
its been 4 years since my last repair so i had entirely forgotten the procedure involved in repairing it.
what i thought would be a 30min job turned to draw out for several hours of continuous work without any pause or hesitation or even an instruction manual
the whole tank had to be removed, drained (black rubber hose connected twords bottom) lifted, then braced by two blocks of wood so i could get just an extra inch of clearance to remove the main burner
the new replacement parts kit the factory sends you comes with an idiot proof mounting bracket now.
before you had to manually gauge the angle to mount the pilot light assembly.
but the new gaskets they send you are retarded, they barely fit and give up toxic fumes while first being ignited by 50,000 BTUs
moral of the story -
fuck mexicans
