i enjoy it. it makes me feel useful.
very fun.
i was so concerned with the possibility of this heater being packed with other faulty mexican components, which by the way, makes the entire appliance a mystery. something like a pinyata, i mean you know its packed with candy, but what kind? anyhoo, when i released the water back into the empty tank, i started imagining the pressure release valve being made out of chicklets and possibly a mix of tamerind and chili. surley i thought to myself that perhaps i should regulate the valve myself and allow the air to freely pass as the tank filled with water. rather than the pressure tearing through its mystery bladder and possibly "winning" a sweet sweet prize of a pinhole leak.
i was so concerned with this, that i had forgot to alleviate the pressure building on the homes plumbing. fortunately, however, the house reminded me. yes, it actually spoke to me, i am being serious. i could hear this sound coming through the walls, something which i have never heard before. it was like a gulping sound being made by a synthesizer, the strangest thing. i pretty much ran to the kitchen sink and threw on the hot water.
boy, there must have been at least 30 PSI in there.
the sink flowed normal for a couple of seconds, paused, then erupted; exactly like a gyser at yellowstone. it broke the still of 3:30am night. the animals ran for their lives.
it sprayed this fine mist across the entire kitchen.
it was wonderful.
