Windows 10 Anniversary
Microsoft updated my gaming machine while I was sleeping and helpless. This was probably for the best. You don't want to be awake for appendectomies and such.
The interesting thing is that the whole business went perfectly. You wouldn't know anything had changed unless you looked around. They even kept all my settings, contrary to all the horror stories people have been bleating. Everything just works.
I credit this to the fact that I built this computer correctly and didn't have a bunch of HP/Dell crapware, registry hacks, and Zone Alarms all over it. Then again, maybe Microsoft published two versions of the update, one broken and the other functional, just to see what people would do. That's probably it.
All I know is that I'm okay so far. Now witness the power of this fully armed and operational desktop.
