I saw where Ben Affleck is thinking about remaking Witness for the Prosecution. I think he has it mixed up with Anatomy of a Murder. I can see him as the James Stewart character. Charles Laughton? Not so much.

Prep for Anatomy of a Murder: learn to fake playing jazz piano.

Prep for Witness for the Prosecution: learn to be a fat little troll with health problems and cast someone as crazy as Elsa Lanchester to be your nurse. Rosamund Pike won't work. She might do for the Marlene Dietrich part. Actually, I wish they had gotten someone besides Marlene Dietrich in the original. Every Marlene Dietrich movie would have been better by getting rid of Marlene Dietrich.
