Subject: Titan Quest Anniversary Ed.

This is a welcome update to the best of the Diablo clones. Complete with updates for modern screens and floppy disks and such, it also has functional multiplayer. Plus, it's on sale for $4.99.

ILA, Necro, and I experimented with it last night. Well, mostly ILA bashed monsters while I ran away and Necro provided horrible racist commentary and contemptuous observations about our noobness, the latter of which I found enormously entertaining. Necro was quite a lot higher-level than we were, so there wasn't much else for him to do.

He probably could have pointed out that neither of us had leveled up our masteries, but the fact that we were very underpowered probably was the only amusement he had. Once we discovered the mastery skills, we were overpowered and he had run out of jew and n-word jokes, so there was nothing much left to do except lecture on the finer aspects of his own toon. As we were not yet sufficiently trained to appreciate these instructive bon mots, he unceremoniously left.

Necro's character is some kind of ominous-looking lich/summoner thing which I am not able to fathom yet. ILA made a rogue (always a sound choice), and I made a girl pew-pew mage, which was a total departure for me. ILA looks pretty cool with some kind of green magic emanating from his hands. I look underdressed in a silly Greek miniskirt, but I will address this in the fullness of time.

Meanwhile, it was good to be back in the Greek wheat fields being attacked by hostile crows and goat people.

My goals include the following:

1. Get rich.
2. Become glowy with powerful magic and shoot meteors at things.
3. Look fabulous in designer sorc clothes.
4. Not lag.
