Oh, and I finally figured out how to use tools in Stardew Valley. The game cleverly lets you experiment with your keyboard and doesn't bother with silly tutorials or help files, so I spent quite a long time must walking around and not interacting with anything before stumbling onto the correct way to chop weeds. From there, it was no great matter to graduate to chopping trees and breaking rocks.
After an evening of doing this, along with accidentally emptying my water can in the town fountain because it apparently didn't qualify as a water source, I was getting too stimulated and had to rest. I think I'll rest for about another eighteen months. By then, maybe this phone game will work correctly with the Steam overlay.
