The interesting thing about AMD drivers is that they have a lot more settings and tweaks than nvidia. For example, setting the DVI frequency or adjusting the power efficiency.
It's even more interesting when you realize these settings are only there to account for their fundamentally broken hardware. Things they can't fix by making a permanent driver change because it breaks something else. This is why AMD is always releasing "hotfixes" for new releases.

You get what you pay for.
