RE: tell me about your day!
Mod support for Skyrim is almost awe-inspiring in its scope. Support for Fallout 4 isn't nearly as vast and probably won't be, but it's still huge.
What I want in a Fallout 4 overhaul:
1. Fix the horrible AI, especially pathing
2. Adjust world/resource calculations to keep up with large save files
3. Fix the awful "snap-on" limitations of settlement construction
4. Make the DLC features more functional (example: the Wasteland Workshop machines don't do anything useful in their default state -- need machines that will make all ammo calibers/types, all armor types, all gun types, etc.)
Yes, there are mods already that do these things, but somebody needs to assemble all this into a general utility package and leave out everything else. My character could easily destroy everything in Survival difficulty, but I'm not interested in that. I don't care about weather systems, darker nights, giant yao guai, "better" radiation poisoning, my teeth falling out from scurvy, or any of that. Why can't people just fix a game's broken functionality without beating up on the player? I don't care how "e-tough" a mod maker wants me to think he is. I just want the game to count my beds correctly.
