The only thing I'd recommend is to avoid going too overboard with them, especially if they're mods that change code or introduce scripts and aren't just visual improvements. The reason for this is to minimize the chances that you'll run 2 or more mods that conflict with each other, which tends to break the game in subtle ways and you won't realize it until you hit an impassable roadblock where the game just freaks out.

There are tools to help you figure out if your mod choices will run into trouble, I think Load Order Optimization Tool (https://loot.github.io/) has an option to search for conflicts, as well as the very necessary option for sorting the order in which mods load into the game.
