first playthrough of vanilla skyrim was 10/10 because the world was fresh and unexplored. (game was certainly better than morrowind)
then combat would dissolve into repetitive bullshit, and people were expecting quests to also be something magical.
breath of the wild is just an updated game with cooler features and effects.
but i would also like to take the time in reminding everyone how modded skyrim is literally the best action RPG ever
the lethal dungeon traps and the combat AI mods are crucial.
the problem is that people dont expect skyrim to be difficult, so any combat mods just seem frustrating, regardless of how competent or brilliant they are. skyrim also has the stigma of being a kids game - because it is. children are the real target demographic for these games. but mods really do make up for this.
my modded game is custom and refined to the point where it has become its own masterpiece. there is an overwhelming amount of additional content too. over 100 added lands and dungeons
