yeah fuck the story
objective: survive the dark with your flashlight
there should also be some day/night priority where you can only do certain things in the day like farming and crafting, and repairing your weapons. many wild animals and monsters are also sleeping during the day
and at night is when you have to go obtain certain things, maybe special things. its also when many more monsters are awake and willing to fuck you up.
