steam has over 100 great unknown games. its closer to 200.
i went through the entire IGG list of something like 1000 games, or maybe 2000 when you combine the master list of steam games under categories im interested in. IGG is basically a piracy front for steam games. anyway i examined each one which seemed interesting.
turns out, steam is filled with great games which don't have AAA popularity.
i keep my games archive stocked, its literally 2tb worth of games, over 500 of them, and a good 150-200 of them are lesser-known, high quality steam games. honestly, you would think a great game should be popular and something you would know about. but there are so many of them, literally PC is overflowing with games, so much so, that great games can go unnoticed, which is only a testament to the wealth of games PC truly has.
but alas, none of these games offer the customization and gameplay of skyrim.
the creation kit is where the real money is at, and once you start tailoring the game to suite your desires, you cannot stop.
