the first thing, among many, you need to "get" is how roman history actually works
we dont give enough credit to rome, its a shame really
often, when people conjure their bullshit image of ancient life gathered from cheap actors on the history channel, with heavy liberal communist bias for dark skinned people with a supposed ancient mystical knowledge;
we often fail to understand how ancient life was just plain and stupid.
there is no "mystic ancient intelligence" people once had, there is nothing special about the sumarians or the egyptians building their madness towers out on the most inhospitable and dumb locations on earth.
the ancients really had nothing going for them, with of course, the exception of rome.
romans were much smarter than are given credit for, these were the people with true "mystical ancient knowledge". better than the greeks even.
nothing, not a single parchment written by ancient roman hands exists today. supposedly we are still finding religious hebrew bullshit written thousands of years ago in caves, but we cannot find anything of the romans, who were extremely prolific in literacy - literally inventing the english alphabet.
i assure you there is a reason for this.

any negative regard held on rome actually comes from christianty
roman history was purposely erased during a time where a feat like this could have been easily accomplished. easier then you really understand, my friend.
i have a strong suspicion that charlemagne, along with his supposed renaissance, is what brought christianity into our world, as a great injustice, literally as a criminal would - is responsible for this.
its really quite obvious, but very strange how this eludes the mainstream historic narrative. perhaps you believe in their pseudo-science? literally over 90% of roman history is speculation, with no regard to the authenticity, or legitimacy of sources. its quite troubling when you really think how far these idiots are allowed to go in peddling their bullshit.
