That reminds me of Black Sea. Jude Law and a crew of dirty, snaggle-toothed Russians and Brits have to repair their old submarine by getting a driveshaft from a wrecked U-boat and dragging it across the ocean floor, along with a huge WW2 shipment of gold. Everybody dies except one of the dirty Russians and a dirtier Brit kid whom Jude Law sacrifices himself for so the kid can go back to the fourth-world UK and keep impregnating his dirty, snaggle-toothed girlfriend. Their spawn will repopulate England and return it to greatness -- well, as soon as they all learn to read, do basic arithmetic, and come up with a budget that doesn't involve mugging tourists. This kid and his girlfriend may produce an evolved Britannia that improves the South American modus of kidnapping the more well-heeled tourists. I see a future in which Russia and England create a new global economy featuring a giant conglomerates based on the old East India and South Sea companies.
Actually, this is nothing like fixing that thing on a Ford Focus.
