Even though it was mainly Benicio's project, I can't disagree. He certainly wouldn't have been my first choice to play Lawrence Talbot. I thought the CGI was adequate but overused. On the other hand, I liked what they did with the atmosphere and prosthetics. Apart from Benicio's silly nose and too-human eyes, the makeup was pretty good. Emily's dresses were wonderful -- they should have done more with those. They could have done an Elizabeth Taylor/Cleopatra thing with Victorian costumes. Also, Emily rode in coaches very capably. Young actresses could learn much from her pro coach-riding skills.
