Been playing a lot of Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. I actually bought the system specifically for it. I keep intending to write a post about it that basically goes like this; It's pretty damn good, but MK for the Wii is still the best. I mean, that game was almost perfect. The biggest drawback was the resolution when you had 3 or more players in a split screen session. There's still a huge hit in MK8 when you do that, but still a substantial improvement.
