RE: New outdoors vid
yeah i actually watched that again..
but anyway, im thinking of pulling 37's onna bitch ass.
dat clearance ginna be vibrating dem rocks n shit ova da wheel n shit.
dat bitch ass manual differential lock gun be custom made to operate hella fresh cuz putting 1k on a differential is dumb on a 99 expy, so imma design my own shit, ya feel me? tires gon b 500 - 1000 alone
dat custom hitch dat swang all low 2 for riggin, but also need to pimp da trailer wheels for dat xtra clearance 2, ya feel me?
but anyway, american trucks are great.
you find the little things which nobody else will do.
the engine burns oil when towing or just pushing her hard. but ddes not burn oil during normal commuting. i noticed the oil burn after scaling two massive mountain ranges in a short distance on a blistering hot day. the vehicle itself literally weighs almost 3x japanese fagboy shit
first i thought the oil consumption was bad, i immediately thought of worn piston rings. after all, its a used truck, what she looks like on the inside is still a mystery to me, since i haven't gotten into the cylinders with my compression gauge yet.
but damn, the possibility of this 'burning' being normal did linger behind all the fear of having a shitty engine.
yes, you definitely want some oil to find its way into the cylinder when it gets nice and hot. this also seems to be a feature of certain model year engines, between late 90s and mid 00s.
older designs haven't thought of it yet, and newer ones stopped doing it because its a hush-hush emissions violation.
this is exactly why the cross hatch never wears out on these old 2v 5.4 engines.
definetly designed to go 300,000k
which is very impressive for a gasoline engine.
this also must be why more of this generation of ford is on the road more than literally any other vehicles of similar model years, even toyota.
transmission kicks ass too, the 4r100 is only about a 6 out of 10 as is, it has some flaws, but can be upgraded into 10/10 for practically nothing if you do it yourself.
but man, its a lot easier to drop 3k on a quality reman (only one place when does it right in the entire united states and world)
i dont feel like hammering in these bushing-things which require a press.
