RE: I found a bare spot in Fallout 4; other news
I should add that I'm almost level 150, so I have a tilted view of the shooty part. Eventually, you become insanely rich and either come across or mod hundreds of weapons and armor pieces. Right now, enemies are just nuisances that interrupt my building. There's almost nothing I can't one-shot, so it's hard to remember the desperation of the early game. I was sure I would never amount to anything, since I was always broke and very weak, with crappy pipe weapons and raggedy outfits. This all changes once you figure out perks and how to use ammo for currency. At about level 40-50, the thrill of gunfighting is pretty much gone.
Oh, if I had the patience to start a new character, what changes I would make in my early/mid games.
