Nah, it's perfect for the type of shit gamer I am. Casual and arcadey but also requiring an ounce or two of strategy. The main mechanic that appeals to me is the 1 life factor. If there are better online games with that same premise (aside from PUBG) then I'd be into them just as much most likely.
