You take the opportunity to address the rampant sexism in the original? (Less a criticism of the film itself and more of the time)
The new Ghostbusters failed at this: It should have been a gender reversal direct sequel-as-critique of the original. Peter Venkman is a terrible scientist and a rampant sexist. Bill Murray was already a minor character so why not have him reprise, critique, and update the character?
