RE: Back to M&B Warband
my save is from four or five generations of character imports, with gold and all exp. the only thing missing are your companions.
after a certain character level, the game just becomes like an mmo grinding for skills
since you're starting new, you should play the original m&b (1.011), and not warband, 1.011 is the "real" mount and blade, with cuthroat AI and armies in the thousands.
the only thing missing is full kingdom management and marriage like what you get with warband, but it's not worth the tradeoff
