Of course, I left out another scenario: I accept the marshal position, lead a campaign against Narra, and request it as a reward.
This would be the best outcome all around, but the timing would have to be perfect. It would be my luck to get over there with an army and be notified that the Vaegirs and Khergits have declared a truce. Or in the middle of building siege towers, Sanjar derps over with a huge party that scares off my lords.
It's so hard to be me.
