RE: Adventures in Warband Economics Part 3
In an effort to enrich my villages and improve peasant recruitment, I've been going around making sure they have all relevant upgrades and asking the elders for tasks. Usually, it's the cow-herding thing, but one of them asked me to train the peasants to fend off bandits.
I learned an important thing. Any villager can beat my brains out with a staff. Two or more can make dog food out of me. I asked the elder for another task and ended up doing an easy cattle drive from a nearby village.
Now I'm haunted by the possibility of running into a group of enemy villagers with sticks.
