For some reason, we declared war on the Swadians, who have done nothing at all to warrant our aggression. Better yet, we've gone for weeks without a marshal.
Nobody is doing anything except looting villages. Nobody, that is, except King Harlaus, whose party has 849 men. He besieged Uxkhal without opposition.
That's 849 men belonging to one guy. Meanwhile, everyone else has pathetic groups of 30-50. They're mostly footmen and militia, which are just substitute terms for villagers running around with clubs and kitchen knives.
I should probably start over or start a different game. Or I could take on King Harlaus. The only way to do the latter would be letting him besiege one of my towns, most likely Praven. If I can get his knights and sharpshooters on ladders or siege towers, I could thin them out, maybe by as much as 40-50%. Only then could I defeat him. If he doesn't do that, there's no point in going on. The game will be officially broken.
