I tried it out and it's ok, like an amalgamate between Duke3d and Strife, though weirdly what it reminds me the most is a much better version of TekWar with 100% less William Shatner.
They're billing it a hard as nails, punishing retro FPS so naturally, I just breezed through the current content on hardest since none of the enemies are hitscanners and you can simply circle strafe destroy everything. Guess they mean "game journo hard" rather than actual hard.
