RE: STALKERs don't need doors
You can choose story mode when you start a new game, otherwise it is a sandbox. I'm really not sure how the story thing is going to play out since I haven't made any progress towards it at all. So far, the only thing I know is that I'm supposed to disable the brain scorcher. No one told me, and I don't know why. What I do know is that it's my primary task in my PDA.
