Things I already know about the flytrap:
It's not a plant.
But it is.
It came from something which mimics a plant very well. But now it's a plant.
It came from the ocean :)
It's native to the Carolina's. It's an American plant.
I thought it would come from some deep african/brazalian jungle somewhere. But no, it's home is here in Carolina States.
It's totally edible. At least I suspect it to be. I think you can eat the entire plant.
The red part (the trap) tastes like sugar and is sweet.
