Now you're truly showing your age if you think PUBG is going to survive past 2019. Every day I see a new article about how the next BATTLETANK STRIKE FORCE ROUGE FORCE ONE has a Battle Royale mode coming.
Unfortunate too since the burnout on that genre is going to come quick and swift.
Unless they do a true survivor game where games go on for days and you have to log in praying that nobody found you and murdered you in your sleep. People would stay up all night camping out in the trees ensuring their survivor, as their physical health in reality slowly diminishes. The meta game would simply be to outlive your opponents in real life.
