I mean... the movies aren't for anybody but it's hard to argue with the numbers they pull in. They aren't trying to win any Academy awards but if you're looking for an excuse to down a $10 theater 2 Hearted Ale and eat 1,400 calories of popcorn while watching CGI blast your brain with exciting but forgettable imagery, they do their jobs well.

I probably feel the same way you do about the Fast and Furious franchise. I don't understand the appeal whatsoever but apparently the majority of society disagrees with me on that one.

As for the new Star Wars movies... yeah. Those aren't very good. I think the last one literally had people riding around on an alien horse track in an alien casino where alien Benecio Del Toro was running around. Then a robotic soccer ball literally climbed into another robot and killed a bunch of people. They should have really let that franchise die in peace with the prequels... but apparently Disney likes BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
