The reality is I'm going to most likely end up with another MBP but I'm waiting to see if they've created a usable one for 2018 or if I need to stretch my 2012 another year.
There's currently a class action lawsuit due to their laughably horrible keyboard that breaks if a spec of dust gets under any of the keys.
And I'm probably being too hard on Windows but the reality is that, objectively speaking, OSX is still a lot more stable than any version of Windows and that's the only thing keeping me from jumping ship. The fact that I haven't restarted my laptop in 3 months and continue to hammer it with multiple resource heavy apps open at any given point with no perceivable performance issues is pretty impressive.
