Militarized ladybugs
Surely, this final form of the dragon beetle (the titanic bloodsucking form) must also be a dormant trait of the ladybug, given the ladies royal coat - I would also imagine this final form to be much more... menacing for her.
the potential is there, the ladybug does indeed hide ancient secrets, though it has given up war, I can only imagine what they be. something which would endanger us all. yes, an insect could have the potential to do this!
