Well, I thought the headphones sounded fine, and with the headphone amp on this soundcard, they sound a lot better. Not quite Sennheiser quality, but then they were only about $20 anyways.
Maybe whatever you have them plugged into is a piece of shit? That, or your ears are fucked up. I'm starting to wonder if it's something like that since you keep going on about how the best speakers you can possibly buy are some old Boston Acoustics you got bundled with your Gateway2000 back when your dad took the training wheels off your keyboard. Although to be honest, I thought that was just one of your elaborate jokes (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here).
