Subject: RE: Moar thoughts on Fallout 76

Therefore, unless things change or I'm very much mistaken in my predictions, I suppose I will be toting up more hours in FO4. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as the mods are interesting and number in the gazillions.

Speaking of that, I think I broke my game by using too many building mods. Individually, they're wonderful. In combination, they can cause problems. Even so, I'm not sure whether I broke something by using too many mods or just building too many things. With enough memory and other decent hardware, I can do all kinds of things the game wasn't designed for, but eventually it has a hard time keeping track of all my abuses. Things start falling apart.

To that end, I have decided to go back to an earlier save and start over. That is, I found a save with all in-game settlements constructed but untouched by mods. Since the builders I admire the most don't use mods, I'm going to see what I can do without them for as long as I can stand it.

Last night, I spent about two hours wiring up a power door for my Sanctuary generator structure. I was quite absorbed by figuring out how a logic gate would allow switches to open and close the door from both sides. Eventually, I intend to exploit the manufacturing machines that came with the Workshop Contraptions DLC, and of course I plan to see how far I can take rug and concrete pillar glitching.

Do you realize how complex this game is? The possibilities are off the chain. The building element can occupy you for years.

Yeah, poo on Fallout 76.
