RE: I got a $25 gift card for IHOP
I can't bring myself to pay for pancakes, as you already pointed out they consist of $0.05 worth of milk, $0.10 in eggs, and $0.05 worth of flour which is then uncharged to $9.00 a plate.
Everyone knows the only breakfast worth ordering that would otherwise be a pain in the ass to make at home is a gyro omelette. Statistically speaking, 0% of homes on the face of this Earth actually have gyro meat in them right now. Also, no man or woman in their right mind is going to spend 5 minutes dicing up cucumbers JUST for tzatziki sauce. So there it is. The perfect breakfast order if you absolutely have to go out to eat. I'm of course omitting all varieties of eggs benedict as though it's delicious and a pain in the ass to make at home, it's not worth the coin flip of whether or not you're going to get morning diarrhea from the unnecessarily rich Hollandaise sauce.
