well, the x5450 can pull over 2.1gb/s on sequential read, thats the most data ive seen flung over a ddr2 system
4k is low, idk what that means,
but i get the feeling the ddr2 is adequate for gaming still, in 2018, for any title.
of course im sure you know, video games are actually CPU driven at heart, only the drawn components are rendered by the GPU with i believe the main exception being nvidia physX offloading physics to the GPU
games like GTA 5 and mount and blade are very CPU intensive
because a video game is actually CPU and not GPU - man
