you seem to be forgetting many things in your little market analysis there
for one, sony is actually a product of microsoft,
if you read the wikipedia article on MSX computer, the exact first paragraph is still all my writing.. it has been this way for quite some time
another thing you cant seem to grasp, is that sony's not actually a tech company, and the most apparent way you can properly understand this is by diverting your attention to the fact
they still have no video game mascot
