mountain lions are like ghosts, you never see them unless something is very wrong.
people who work in areas with the highest numbers of mountain lion, never see one in their entire life
its hard for an automated camera to even catch one. you cant just set up an automated camera and bait a mountain lion, it doesn't work that way.
central/east coast mountain lions are more sociable and behave less like wild creatures, so they are spotted more often. a genuine, real west coast mountain lion actually is a wild retarded creature
