Now you're probably thinking, "Sim, melon plants produce more than one melon. The vines can generate as many as three or more. Surely you're not thinking of a melon vine with only a single melon."
That's exactly what I'm thinking of. I know: it's edgy and a little scary. People will accuse me of taking Mendel too far. I don't care. We're dealing with a major scientific advancement here. If you want an omelet, you have to break an egg.
Which brings to mind my next mod: the megachicken. But this is far down the road.
