Earlier I mentioned the cow lady
Well, I've decided not to look for her. Since she wanders and may or may not show up at any of six or seven obscure locations, I could be looking for her from now till the cows come home and never find her. Get it? Till the cows come home? LOLOLLlllelwlwl
Anyway, I remembered that one of the DLC's has animal traps. I put some razor grain in one of them and set it up at Sunshine Tidings Co-op. In a matter of days, some unsuspecting cow will wander by and I will enslave it. Meanwhile, I've moved on to Graygarden.
As you know, Graygarden is populated solely by robots who tend the nursery there. My plan is to keep create more robots and keep humans out. This will cap the happiness level at 50, but this is normal. Robots can never be happier than 50. I'm all right with that. The upside is that they don't need beds.
So no, I'm not looking for the cow lady. It's hopeless to search for nomadic NPC's in this game. When I first started, I meat a lady doctor in a field between Red Rocket and Lexington. In all my hours, I've only ever run into her once after that. I was surprised since almost none of these characters are essential, meaning that they could die and you'd never know it. Another wandering doctor actually did die. I wouldn't have known had I not discovered his corpse on the road. His pack brahmin (cow) stood forlornly by him, lost and without purpose. After shedding a tear, I looted the corpse and left the cow there. Maybe it'll wander into my trap.
So I'll let you know how the cow trap thing goes. Check back here for updates as these incredible events unfold.
