both fly and fruit gnat with crazy eyes, will specifically land on your hand if you extend it to them
but only if they are not still trying to determine weather you want to kill them or not
and its very easy to communicate your intention with them,
very similar to a dog.
you can wave hi at them and everything, and they "get it"
