flies have the ability to project any design they want onto their eye, this we actually know. different species have different colors and patters, which are genetically permanent, as in not a real time projection,
but they, as a species, do project the best designs on earth. they have the best looking eyes on earth, some designed better than the one i posted earlier.
though the one with the horizontal bars is one which is most indicative of their mechanics
