Originally, the Second Amendment applied to militias. The Supreme Court ruled (much later) that it applied to individuals. The Court also took care of the black powder distinction.
Not sure why gun nuts think that they could do anything against a trained twenty-first century military force or any of the alphabet agencies. Not happening.
