A problem with the Reddit contest is that they usually allow mods. This in itself is not so bad, but you never know what mods other people are using.
They really ought to prohibit mods so everyone has to depend entirely on their own creativity. There are probably dozens of military clutter mods on the Nexus. Since I don't like that site, I would be limited to what I can scrounge from Bethesda.net.
Well, I still think I could get an honorable mention or something. Plus, I do have the Conquest mod. If the rules don't confine me to in-game settlements, I could do something interesting with an unusual location.
Location is 50% of settlement coolness.
