And adding some anecdote about squirrels doesn't give it any more validity. The original authors were from England, and based the constitution on the English Bill of Rights. The amendments were added as corrections to things they thought were problems from that (militias being illegal, limitations on owning weapons, etc.). They didn't just pull shit out of their ass based on whatever current event was happening at the time.
