I fixed it. I added some raggedy plants in the front, along with some iron spikey fence pieces and interesting posts on either side of the steps. Also, I found some pavers that worked out perfectly. Finally, I put a flower box above the awning. Everything worked perfectly. It's not worth a screenshot, but it merited a note.
